Production Managering

ON WRITING & DIRECTING - by G.L. Horton

ECA writes: I hate to disturb you but I have a quick question and wondered if you'd have a minute to advise me? We are hard at work on our annual Out On The Edge theater festival and are looking to hire a Production Manager. Could you recommend anyone with relevant experience? It is a paid, non-equity part-time position from mid-August-October 31. We would be appreciative of any and all leads, or if you could forward the job listing to folks whom you think would be interested. [job description]

Thespis knows the theatre can't pay them enough to afford sky high rent and health insurance!

I fear for our beautiful fragile houses of cards.

I'm retired now and able to devote my full time to art—but art has always lived and grown in the cracks where economic efficiency fails... the idle rich, the unemployed, students, children, spouses, kept beauties with patrons... (8/27/04)
